In spite of the rainy day business was brisk and it's a sure bet that, come sunny days, the small fry will keep the proprietors busy. Not long ago another shingle made its appearance on this street when the Schreiber Tackle & Sport Shop, managed by Mr.& Mrs. Don Wilkinson, opened for business. Morrill = TOM McCUAIG HONORED ~ A large group of friends met in the home of Paul Gauthier on Saturday evening for a stag honoring Tom McCuaig, whose marriage to Miss Marilyn Luck takes place in Fort William on July 20. The party arrange- ments were made by Tony Speziale & Jim McCuaig. and a presentation made on behalf of the group Reeve D'Arcy and all members attended the July COUNCIL QUOTES council meeting with clerk R.C. Councillor Harness stated two litter receptacles have been received and will shortly be installed. Unless, of course, the public co-operate by placing all trash within these, the streets cannot be kept clean and the order for more will depend on the use of these. Water works accounts totalling $656.69 and gen- eral accounts of $8,526.70 were ordered paid.
