COMETS FACE ELIMINATION The combination of travelling, some dubious umpiring and a very strong Red Sox club have proved too much for the Terrace Bay Comets so far in the Lakehead Baseball semi-finals. Three straight defeats by convincing scores leave the locals but one game from elimination 'with the fourth contest slated for Wednesday night in Port Arthur, Unless they do an abrupt about face, it looks like the playoff trail is ended, Attempts to get at Loan! one of the playoff games here proved fruitless, as the Lakehead executive again showed their reluctance to give anoutside team any consideration, It would appear that the onty hope for North Shore teams ig to form a North Shore League and have the winner challenge the Lakehead winners, HUNTSRS SAFETY - If you act up with a loaded gun, it may be your last performance,
