Buck has returned after a week'ts visit in Rice Lake, Wisconsin, | | sr, MARTIN'S SCHOOL HONORS: PATROL Last Wednesday pupils of St. Martin's Separate School gathered in the Church Hall to acknowlege the splendid work done by their School Patrol this past term, Introduced by Mr, Ray Kenney, Principal of St, Martin's, Constable H, Billings presented to each member of the Safety Patrol, a pen, as a token of appreciation from the Separate School Board. Constable Billings emphasized the importance of the work done by these girls and boys, patrolling the intcrsections and the Trans-Canada Highway crossings through fog, rain or frost to get the school children safely across, Members of the Patrol were: Mary Slattery, Judy and Jennifer McInnes, Adrienne Long, Margaret Ann Pineault, Bob Long, Francis Helmink, Jerry Kennedy, Tommy Gerow, Mickey Valiquette and their School Supervisor this year had been teacher, Mr, Paul Rouble. Enroute they also visited with Mr. Boudreau's brother and family in Barrie, Ont, Mr, and Mrs, A, Chadney will vacation in White Rock, B.C, with their parents during July ° Mr. and Mrs, Ray Hansen plan to visit Ray?s family in Gravenhurst during their vacation, Mr. W. Colborne leaves for London, Ontario | to attend summer school, Joyce Raper returned to her home in Toronto last week and will attend Teacher's College next fall.
