Kolody was up against Dickson for the first game, allowed eight hits and had the game well under control, but an error on his part allowed two men on to come in with runs, He overthrew to second base:on what could have been an easy double play. Mowatt took 'the mound for the second game against Wilkinson | who allowed only four hits but he is having trouble in that his own team is not support- ing him with hits. The Comets are still very weak at bat. Scores were: first game 6-2; second game 4-1, Last Thursday the Comets met Red Rock, Due to bickering, arguements and fights, the game went to 'the top of the eighth at which 'time the Comets had tied the score, The umpire called the game because of darkness | thus reverting the standing to the seventh inning which gave Red Rock a 2-l win, On protest the final outcome will be that, on Wednesday, when Red Rock again meet the Comets, last Thursday's game will be contin- ued for one and a half innings.
