'59 KIWANIS DERBY SURPASSES '58 Members of the Terrace Bay Kiwanis Club re- joiced over the success of their annual Fish Derby held the weekend of August 8th and 9th, As a result of their efforts this year, over $400 will be available for community work President Norm Coan told the Club, Special tribute was paid to Jack Little and Ralph Lindberg whose ticket-selling drive sparked the entire campaign and Dr, John White- side, who handled all ticket sales. The '59 | Derby surpassed even its highly successful !58 counterpart. Speaking of the Derby' dance held on the preceding Friday evening, President Norm stated that its unqualified success was due in no little degree to the work of Herman Roberts, John Whiteside and Ken Ward. At the meeting preliminary plans were laid for the October T,B, Clinic being sponsored in Terrace Bay by:the Kiwanis Club, TENNIS CLUB MEMBERS ENJOY PLAY AT.
