Swimmers will receive advance training and will compete in swim meets against swimm- ers from Red Rock and Marathon in meets here and in the two neighbouring towns. SWIM CLASS CHANGES Children enrolled in "B" Group TADPOLES, "B! Group MINNOWS and FROGS please take note of the following changes in their swimming class hourss There will no longer be Saturday swimming classes for these groups. Instead, these classes will be held on Fridays and the new schedule for the groups reads: - "B" Group TADPOLES - Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:00 P.M, - Fridays at 1:30 P.M, - "B" Group MINNOWS - Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 P.M, -:Fridays at 2:30 P.M, - FROGS ~ Monday to Friday inclusive, at 3:00 P.M. We have been forced to make these changes \ because of poor attendance at Saturday classes. COMETS LOSE TWO TO LEAGUE LEADING WESTFORT Sunday afternoon on the Terrace Bay diamond the Terrace Bay Comets were defeated twice by the Westfort Albions by the scores of 5 = 0 and 1] - 3, Playing far below their potential the Terr- ace team handed the two games to the league leaders through a comedy of errors and bad plays. Carl Kolody, pitching the first game, continued to do well and, although beaten 5-0, he only allowed one earned run, Stevenson, a rookie for Westfort hurled the shutout. The second game was tied 1 - 1 going into the top of the 6th inning. Here the roof fell in when a couple of hits off Taylor and a variety of errors allowed Westfort to score five runs. , The same happened in the first half of the seventh with the Albions scoring another five runs. The Comets tried to fight back in the bottom of the seventh, scoring two runs but Final score 11-3, However, Terrace Bay still has a chance to gain the fourth play-off spot.
