A capacity audience gathered to hear students o:. Grades 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 from Rossport, Schrei- ber, Terrace Bay; Marathon, Heron Bay and Port Coldwell compete for the coveted honours. Judges were Mr, D.A.Locking, Principal and Mr. T.M,Hobin, both of the Terrace Bay High School. Mrs. E,.Sheehan was the official . timekeeper. Master of Ceremonies Jack Stokes opened the evening with a word of welcome and turned the programme over to Mr.Locking who care- fully explained the rules of the Spelling Bee.
