They were accompanied by Harry's mother who had been visiting in Terrace Bay. Ernie Rowson, Dick and John arrived home after a vacation in Perry Sound and Sudbury. A surprise stork shower was held last Thursday for Mrs.Fran Gerow at the home of Mrs.W.McKechnie, An enjoyable evening was spent by the guests and the guest of honour received her gifts from a baby basket decor- ated in blue and white and seated in a chair decked in streamers of blue and white. Assisting the hostess were Mrs.M,Dor- man and Mrs.M.Hanley. Gail MacDonald vacationed at her home inY ellow Grass, Sask, and visited with Mrs.John Pashniak(nee Gay Roy). TERRACH BAY - Mr.& Mrs.A.Theriault and family are back after vacationing in Blue Cove, Bathurst and Kapuskasing. Ronald Matuszak celebrated his birthday last Saturday. Mrs.J.Duncan and Wendy asd st- ed Mrs.Matuszak, Mr.Bernard Huntly, a recent guest at the Scowen home, left on Saturday accompanied by Dennis Scowen, They will motor to Sherbrooke, for a visit. Phyllis Peckett, Mr.& Mrs.Gordon Brown and Doreen were weekend visitors with the Gary Galvin's, Mr.& Mrs.R Harris and family, Mrs.S.Boyd Sr. and Mrs,Corbett spent a few days in Duluth. Attending the Lang-Pepper wedding in Gerald-- ton on Aug.s30th, were Mr.& Mks.Dave Desrosiers Mr.& Mrs.,Joe Charbin, Mr.& Mrs.Dave Wiilen' and Bob Weaver, Ten boys helped Carl Connors celebrate his birthday on Aug.27th. His sister Connis was the hostess, Mr.& Mrs.F.Ford of Pine Falls brought their grandchildren home and visited for ten days with their daughter Kay Anderson and family, Mrs.C,.Armstrong of Fort William, a visitor at the Hugh Hamilton home was joined by her husband over the weekend, Mr,& Mrs.Fred Lewis, Toronto, were weekend visitors of Win and Armold McKechnie, Mr.Harry Ward of Ft.William brought Barbie back and visited with daughter Elva McMillan and family over the weekend, SCHREIBER - Visitors in Schreiber --- Mr.Alex McKay had his grandaughter Mrs.A. Colosimo and her husband visit for a week. Mrs.L.Stewart of North Bay visited her sist Mrs.Wm, Randa. , Mrs.Lois Hiller & Ginny Traer were visit- ing Mrs.T.W.Hiller. Mrs.Oscar St.Thomas and Joan De Rico of Worcester, Mass., spent two weeks with Mrs.T,Cosgrove. Mr.& Mrs.Cook Sr.of Desbarats have been at the Bill Cook's, Mr,.E.T.Murphy journeyed from Ft,William with Bernard, Sean & Terry Paradis: where they had stopped enroute home from Winnipeg Grandma Drake, who spent the summer at the Gary Drake's, returned to the Lakehead with Mrs,T.A. Robinson. Mrs.Baird of Winnipeg has spent the Summer with her daughter Mrs,.J.G.Scott.
