Members are also reminded that this is Communion Sunday. ee A Stork Shower was held last Wednesday evening July 30th at the home of Mrs, Kitty MacLeod for Mrs.Rose Dakin, The guest of honour found a beautiful array of gifts waiting for her and was presented - with a Sorsage on her arrival, Fourteen ladies attended the shower and were later joined by their husbands who enter- tained them at a party and midnight supper. Stella and Bill Sadowick with daughters Marie, Susan and Carol visited with Stellats parents, Mr. and Mrs.5.Shynkar- yk of Ft William last week, Peter Brend with his sons Allan and. Lawrence of Toronto spent a coupls of days last week visiting with his brother Steve Brend and family, Ernest Zielke with wife Addie and child- ren Linda, Michael, Elaine and Bonnie Lee visited with his brothers Ed, and Sam of Terrace Bay and were guests at the home of Sam and Stella Zielke enroute home to Kitchener, Ont, from Beausejour, Manitoba, where they had visited his parents. Mrs.Rae LaPlume and daughter Charmaine of Montreal left Saturday for home on the Canadian having visited for a week with her sister-in-law and brother, Peggy and Alf,Regis and also travelling to Manitouwadge to visit another brother Julien, Frances and Joe Campbell have returned home with their children Mary Claire, Diane and Joey from a week of camping at Pearl, August 7, 1958 SCHREIBER - CHURCH SERVICES Regular Church services in Schreiber will be as follows; In St.John!s Anglican Church, until September, Holy Communion at 8,30 AM, and again at Jah A.M. with no evening service In Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church, at 8 AM., 10 A.M., and 11,30 A.M., except on August 10th when there will be only the two early services followed by the Outdoor mass at 4.30 P.M, In the Schreiber Gospel Mission the reg- ular services are Wednesday at 8 p.m. On Sunday morning at 11 :.M. Sunday School for all age groups, and on Sunday evenings at 7 P.M. the Gospel Church, © Hea Mr.& Mrs.Felix Comeau and daughter Donna of Hamilton, Ontario spent two weeks visit- ing his brother in Terrace Bay and John's Father. Mr.J.B.Comeau Sr, of St.John, New Brunswick has returned home after a two. week visit. Alex Marquis has his brother and family, Mr.& Mrs.Phillip Marquis, Perry, Donald, David, Paul and Melanie from Rainy River spending their holidays here. Visitors at the home of Sid and Binkie Waylor have been Mr.& Mrs, A.Bensin, Mr. Benson spent two weeks here and Mrs,Benson and Pat will remain for the balance of the Summer, Terry Delaronde is the guest of Mr. & Mrs. Hans Hogan .of Manitouwadge this week, Mr, and Mrs. Alphonse Leclair, and children of Kapuskasing spent last week in Terrace Bay as guests of the Rene Leclairs. Mr, Hubert B.Fairs of Hamilton will visit for a week or two with his daughter and son-in-law Mr & Mrs.Fred Gould. Mr. & Mrs.Ken Hutchinson have had as their guests Mr.& Mrs.Lloyd McKnight of Toronto and Mr,.& Mrs, Jack Hutchinson and family of Belwood, Ontario. Mrs.Marie Blinn and family arrived Monday from Sudbury to visit her-sister Edith Belliveau. Mr.& Mrs,Paul Pluta and family are home from Saskatchewan where they¢visited with relatives for the past month. Mr.& Mrs,C.Haviland & children enjoyed a vacation as guests of Magistrate & Mrs. P,T.Hake. ' Mr.& Mrs.W.Sernesky weekended in Ft,William with Mr.& Mrs.Paul Sernesky. We express our sympathy to Mrs,Audrey Smith on the passing of her Father, Mr. Michael Pretulack in Port Arthur on Juky 28th.
