Ame a fries oo In general, the, community has enjoyed a.good year as far as healih and sanitary conditions are concerned with comparatively little infectious disease: 4S in previous years, examination of new pupils in both grade schools was carried out and frequent visits made to both schools by the school nurse and rv¥self for cian immunization. Routine examination of various grades for. infestation and septic throat and skin conditions was done at intervals. holaeigs 4ll children of the town over the age of six months have been or are in the process of being immunized against polétomyelitis. The-usual innoculations against diphtheria, whooping cough, and tetanus as well as vaccination against smallpox. were continued throughout the year, There were only 2. cases of scarlet fever discovered: curing the year and only one case of whooping cough.
