The executive, and. all those interested, are asked to be at class at 7:30 p.m. Thursday so that discussion may be held and plans made before class starts (at 8:15 sharp.) Last.week we tried something different - paint- ing from photos projected onto a screen. The subject chosen was a snow scene. Of course, you could achieve the same results by hiking out into the country, and floundering through the snow drifts 'til you find a likely scene, then painting it on the spot. But, we prefer to paint our snow scenes indoors, with a cup of coffee at our elbow! We are going to"have another go at it" this week, so why not join'. us? We guarantee - "no frost bite." The rugged individual who took the original pictures was Norman Bodtker, formerly of the Hudson Bay Staff. Norman generously loaned us his fine collection of slides, for which we are very grateful, We would also like to thank Mr. R.-W. Wills, Sunday School Supt., for the use of the projector. Pegs It has been suggested by a prominent local citizen, that we engage "Betsy, the Chimpanzee" to conduct our course in basic act. We regret to say, Betsy is booked solid "til 1959. We will have to be content with a mere human!
