OF C. SPONSORING 1H ANNUAL OPEN AIR MASS Very Reverend J. C. McHugh, Vibuy Dean of Holy Angels Parish at Schreiber is pleased to announce that His Excellency E.Q. Jennings, Bishop of: Fort William, has _ given his approval to hold an Open Air Mass at the Schreiber ball field on Sunday, August 12th. 'This marks the 4th Annual such event and again it will be under ' the geheral sponsorship of the Knights of Columbus. General Chairman is Edgar LeBlanc. Ceremonies for the day will commence at 4:00 p.m. with a solemn procession from Holy Angels Church to the ball field, with a Solemn High Mass in honour of the Blessed Virgin Mary scheduled for 4:30 pem, Dean McHugh will be the Celebrant assisted by Father Gallagher of Terrace Bay and Father Greengrass of Marathon, acting as Deacon and Sub-Deacon. As in past years it is expected Father Roenicke of Red Rock will provide a running commentary as the Celebrant proceeds through the ' beautiful ceremony of the Mass, which has remained virtually unchanged through 2,000 years of time, Choirs from Terrace Bay and Schreiber will chant the age old Latin responses, Because of a heavy summer schedule it is not definitely established who will deliver the Sermon, although indications are that one of the Jesuit Fathers of Port Arthur will undertake this, and in all probability will be either Father Bathurst, S.J., or Father MacGillvray, S.J.
