'EXECUTIVE OFFICERS --- TERRACE BAY BOWLING ASSOCIATION - 1956-57 (cont. The past Executive would like to thank all those who by their efforts and co- operation contributed towards the success of the Wind-up. 0-0-0 MORO AND KOLODY LEAD SENIORS TO VICTORY: MARSH ONLY HITTER FOR JUNIORS With a one base hit off Jim Moro in the first inning and a three base hit off Carl Kolody in the sixth, Jack Marsh connected for his team's only two hits saving the Juniors from a no hit in their admirable attempt in taking on the Seniors, The baseball game of last Sunday was evidence enough that this community will have baseball for some time. It is hoped that we can arrange for visiting Junior and Senior teams to meet our aggregations on occasions this summer as there is no doubt, and this is not boasting, that our teams will not be "walk-overs,." The game between a team of Juniors lacking more bleacher moral. support and experienced Seniors was a treat for the not too many spectators, Without taking anything away from the Seniors, their 14 to 2 win was not a score indicative of the play. The Seniors did most of their scoring in the first three innings with some timely hits that enabled them to take full advan- tage of the Juniors! mistakes, counting four runs in each stanza. From hereon to the seventh, the Seniors were kept score- less. With the only three base hit of the game, Jack Marsh caused Thomas and Adamo to circle the bases for the Juniors only two runs. While the Seniors called on Moro and Kolody for their pitching, the Juniors were limited to Kit Thomas. Calm and collected, Kit pitched a wonderful game, SCORE BOX ims Mee a Seniors 4 hy 4 O O Z Juniors (0.
