John Kelly of the High School staff will go to Oshawa, Ontario to spend Christ- mas with his parents, Mr. and rs, J. Kelly, while Mr, Locking and Mr, Wilson will remain in Terrace Bay with their respective families. Mr, and Mrs, A, Cadieux left on the 15th to visit with both their parents over the holiday season in Kapuskasing, Ont. Others going to Kapuskasing are Stella Brown and children on Thursday to be with Tedis parents, Mr, and Mrs. W. W. Brown and her Mother, Mrs, H. Bezenar, Ted will join them Friday for over Christmas, Roger Beaylicuwill leave Thursday for Kapuskasing, and Dave Desrosiers and Gay Roy and Bella Begin will leave Friday. Bella will stop off at Hearst with her dad and family. Nurse Doris Hansford leaves Wednesday evening to have Christmas in Thornhill, Ont. with her parents, Mr, and Mrs, R. 5. Hansford, Lou Atchie will visit her parents, Mr, and Mrs, P. E. Atchie in Port Arthur over the holidays. Betty Ollen-Bittle with the children Judy and Jimmy leave Wednesday to visit her parents Mr. and Mrs. Art McCallum in Port Arthur while Don will join them Fri- daye Olyve Harrison will be going home to Ottawa to visit her Dad, Mr. George W. Harrison for Christmas and the New Years. Mrs, A, Clench arrived from Newfound- land last Thursday to spend the remainder of the winter with her son Harry Smith and family. Mrs, Simmons of New Haven, Connecticut is spending the holiday season with her daughter, Mrs, Des Evans-Smith and family. Several children have been celebrating birthdays lately, Mrs. Art LeBlanc held a party for son Alvin's sixth birthday on Saturday, December 17th, Ten little children were present and played a variety of games, Mrs, Marge Lundberg assisted with the birthday luncheon, Mrs, Art Connors held a party in honour of her daughter Connie's ninth birth- (Cont, on next col.) A social hour followed, during which our President, Mr. Dejonghe presented our instructor, Mr. Wm. Klspey with a token of our appreciation.
