OF EDUCATION MOVIES Each Sunday night at 7:30 p.m, we are going to show movies in the large meeting room of the Rec. Centre to anyone who wishes to come out to see them, There is no charge for this nights films, We would like all children to have their parents consent to attend because some of these films are very long. PLAYGROUND REGISTRATION All school children have now been given their playground registration forms and we hope they will be returned as soon as possible, Any child who is 5 now or will reach the age of 5 this summer may also be registered for the playground, Please phone or leave names at the Recreation Centre Office, All those boys or girls over the age of 13 who would like to attend the playground program please contact Jim at the Centre, eee) LADIES SOFTBALL We are asking our ladies to say whether or not they would like to forma softball team. We have already been challenged to play the Beardmore ladies team on July lst. We would like to see if there are any ladies who would represent our | town or even play against each other in a league, All those that playéd Hockey should be interested. PLAYGROUND IS JULY 4TH AT 9:30 a.m, EVERYBODY WILL MEET AT THE RECREATION CENTRE IN THE CURLING LOUNGE. 0-0-0 TENNIS TOURNAMENT On Saturday, June 25th the tennis club staged its first senior tournament with thirty-one members part- icipating out of our present membership of forty-five, Top seeding was claimed by Lionel Waghorn in the men's singles and Laura Dawson in the women's singles.
