'Volume 4, No. 25 ~ be oe PRYOR Wins Apparently there's no such thing as three-in-a-row, At least that's the way it seems to Les Pryor, 5th hand in the machine Room, We!11 wager that Les has set some kind of a record, Early this week he received a letter from Paul Jones, Director of Public Information for the National Safety Council. It was the fourth such letter received in as many months, As on three previous occasions it carried the good news that Les had won a $5.00 prize in the Save-a-Life-Line Limerick Contest. - This is a remarkable feat since there must be literally thousands of entries in these monthly contests with entries from all over the North American Continent. Congratulations Les] We hope you keep on winning. Some day you may hit the $100.00 Jack Pot, This winning streak should encourage a lot more local entries in the contest. Actually the number of people sending in lines is not as great as when the contest started, Every entry which meets National Safety Council Standards is forwarded to Chicago for consideration in the coumtry- wide contest. And, of course, there are the 10 one dollar prizes drawn for locally from all entries sent to the Council, Local winners in Contest Number 5 which ended June 15th were: Diane Fontaine, Ed Linkwich, James Moro, Ken Hutchinson, George Dennis, Bob Borsum, Les Legault, Ken Turner, Les Pryor and Mary Ellen Faust. Winners may pick up prizes at the Personnel Office. (Cont. on next col.) LARGEST CIRCULATION IN TERRACE BAY June 24, 1954.
