MIXED 10 PIN LEAGUE This week the Grniaspon took 4 points from the Maebees Capt. Joe Shubaly rolled 179-147-161 for 487 plus: a handicap of 26 making 565 for the men's high series, Other high scores were George Clifford with 140- 177-147, Ted Stachiw 171-149, Marge Hayes 156 and Pat Dooling with 141 twice. Superiors also took 4 points from the Badgers with Rose Buffett rolling 110-135- 127 for 371 plus a handi-cap of 66 making 569 for the ladies high series. Other high scores were Ruth Shirriff 159, Capt. Olyve Harrison 146-150, Len Swirhun 172-140, Bill Borsum 182-140, Bob Shirriff 157 and Capt, Al Lindskoog 169-167. League Standing Superiors - 16 Badgers - 10 Royalettes - 15 Maebees --- 7 Men's 5 Pin League Again Bill Borsum led Bucks to top honours when he rolled a 790 series. Their 1061, 1019 and 1039 for 3119 gives them the team hi-triple spot and a tie with KCs for the lead in league standing. Bill topped his last week's single when he rolled 335 in the first and though it was a nice score it wasn't good enough to beat Alf Gerow of the K.C. Alf rolled 340 in the third and this along with B, Sernesky's 235 (674) and J, Cavanaugh's 235 (615) gave the K.C.'s 144 for team hi-single of the season so far. Alf's 340 by the way makes him top man in the running for individual hi-single ousting P. Diduch who hat it up to last week. Don Martin of Hydro and Bill Sitko, Capt. of Townsite, were in the Doghouse this week, Don got 79 and Bill 73. Haughn with 220 & 201 (573) paved the way for the Beavers to pick up 18 points and move into a fourth place tie with the Superiors who slipped this week and picked up only 9 points, Beavers with a 2657 scrateh series take the honours this week while Pin Dusters Sparked by 0. Harrison with 242 (Hi Single) 207 & 207 (656 Hi Triple) & J. Mikus with 285 (hi single) took hi game with 978. Some of the better scores' for the week were -S. Savoy 205, B. Austin 210, J.
