MENS 5 PIN BOWLING LEAGUE MAZZAS WIN DOMINION. CATERING TROPHY ¢ HYDRO INTERLAKE SERVICES TROPHY Led by Bill Borsum, the Mazza team took possession of the Dominion Catering Trophy for the 1952-53 season. This is two years in succession that Peter has captured this tropliy, Bill put together scores of 225, 350, 249-&.226 for a total of 1050. G.Paget with games of 216,240, (633) and A, McColl's 259. (609) were a help as well as H. Crisson'ts 206 and 3 game total of 563 plus 120 hdep. Rat Portage led by P. Didvch with seores of 227, 206,237 (833) & L. White with 776 took second money while the Snowbanks who won all the team prizes during the season came in third with Buck rolling 322, 247 (913) and 2, Niemi 217, 244 (816) to help the cause, The boys from the Steam just couldntt get the fire burning to get that head on to make things hot, As usual the Consolation Winners rolled the high games of the evening. The Hydro finally came through 'and won the Interlake Services Trophy (Put up for competition for the first time this year) having the honour of being the first to take possession of same. The Cats won second money on this side cof the roll off led by Bob Harrison with a series of 748, The WhizBangs who tied for first place in the final series came into third money. The scores fer the roll offs follow.
