LAG. G, A NOTE ABOUT CHRISTMAS TREES Every once in a while we refer to the rigid programme of tree conservation which has been in force at Terrace Bay since construction began, Now that the winter season is upon us the general appear- ance of our community is certainly enhanced by the snow covered trees which add so much to the picture. During the forth-coming Christmas Season many residents will no doubt be using fir trees in their homes, and it is sincerely hoped that no effort will be made to remove trees from the area bounded by the river on the west, the lake to.the south, the fire- break to the east and old Highway #17 to the north. It may be of interest to Townsite residents who do not intend to cut their own trees to know that George DeLong, Jr. at 71 Laurier Ave. is taking orders for Christmas trees. 0 0) 0 016 CHRISTMAS MATL At the Terrace Bay Post Office Christmas mail will no doubt be very heavy this year, and in order to eliminate some requests which will be made for information 'ostmaster Ed.
