SUSDAY SCHOOL will be held at the schoolhouse in the towmsite. oVOre, Qo NCOD for TOWNSITE RESIDENTS In the future, Townsite residents may obtain scrap wood for their personal use from the pile so designated in the Millsite area. This pile is located in the woodyard just north of the mill building proper, and may be most conveniently reached by turning west from the main road at the batching plant. To facilitate residents in obtaining this wood a Jeep, together with a Trailer, will be available at the Dispatcher's Office after 5:30 p.m. each evening. Persons intending to use the Jeep for this purpose are urged to advise the Dispatcher's office in advence and thereby assure reservation. OOO Orie LONGLAC EMPLOYEES BUY CANADA SAVINGS BONDS During the recent campaign a total of 67 persons took advantage of buying Canada Savings Bonds offered for sale through representatives in each Department of the Longlac organization at Terrace Bay. ' Of these, 56 were purchasers on the Payroll Savings Plan, buying a total of "13,250, while 11 persons bought for cash to a total of 33,200. Total sales were, there- fore, $16,450. On an average payroll of 190 LongLac employees this would be equivalent to a purchase to the value of 86.60 per employee, a record of which we are justly proud. GF OEG An Interesting COMING EVENT Children of the Terrace Bay school are hard at work on a Christmas concert which Will be presented in the Terrace Bay recreation hall at 8:00 p.m. on December 18th, (Thurs.) From the grapevine we understand that the concert will include a Cantata which will last approximately three-quarters of an hour. The programme will also include musical num- bers, playlets, and one highly secret feature. Admission to the concert will be 35¢ for adults with no charge for children. © esol One SKI_CLUB hat AG Last Sunday afternoon quite a number of Ski Club members were hard at work on the ski slide which is being developed on the hill eat the east side of the fire break leading to the water intake. 'le understand that excellent progress was made. All the skiiers need now is a good snow fall! a0, 0 CONGRATULATIONS - To Mr. and Mrs. T. Bruce MacPherson on the arrival of a son and heir at Private Patients Pavilion, Toronto, on Nov, 14th. Name - Gregory George. Mother and son are both doing well and we are lead to believe that Bruce, who works in LongLac's Toronto office, also survived the blessed event. OOO 0
