The ladies in front of the Gerge Kemp Store are LtoR Mrs George Kemp nee Margaret Strang the second lady is unknown.
The Alp Family is sitting in the car with William Halliday Alp as the driver. Rev. W.H Alp was Presbyterian Minister and was married (1904) to Christina Houston Strang, sister to Mrs. George Kemp.. The boy in the car is Herbert Alp with two of his sisters Jane & Hester and mother Christina in the rear seat .... This photo was most likley taken by George Kemp ... This photo appears in "The Lake In The Hills but appears to be captioned incorrectly.....
