    Condition: Fair. Photo is dirtied and stained with very uneven toning. Looks like too much glue was applied when pasted to the matte.

    Condition: Very poor. Silvered all over and feels and looks like it was once wet.

    Condition: Poor. Photo is dirty and stained and has unevenly yellowed. Edges are worn and ripping.

    Condition: Fair to poor. Left side of matting ripped off. Image is very worn, scratched and dirty.

    Condition: Fair. Yellowed with loss of contrast. Some stains. Matting and image are also very dirty.

    Condition: Poor. Image has faded and turned an orange-pink tone. It is also fairly dirty.

    Condition: Okay - but pretty dark and worn.

    Condition: matting is not thick and therefore bent and torn in places; a little worn and browned in spots but otherwise image is in good condition (writing on image is still clear).

    Condition: Excellent. Very clear. Only the matte shows signs of yellowing.

    Condition: Good. Image is clear. Some yellowing and stains on left side.
