- Description
- Photo of Queen Street looking west from about King Street down towards the downtown core. The Town Hall can be seen on the right with all the old frame buildings nearby. The bowling lanes (now the Salvation Army Citadel) seen at the left.
A sign saying "HYDRO" can be seen at the top-centre.
Something appears to be happening downtown with banners and flags seen hanging across Queen Street. People and horse and carriages can be seen right downtown.
(Someone has guessed it could have been the occasion of the Firemen's convention in 1912?) - Notes
- Condition: original postcard is very poor. There is a loss of contrast and it is very dirty with stains all over.
