- Description
- Photo of the exterior of the first Knox Presbyterian Church building. This building once stood where Knox Apartments is now located (66 Church Street South).
This building was built in 1879 but unfortunately destroyed by fire in 1891. They rebuilt a new building which was also destroyed by fire (in 1905). A third building was later built and thankfully was not destroyed by fire, but was demolished to make way for the current apartment building. - Notes
