- From our index card:
"An interior view of the J.W. Turnbull home in Galt, Ontario, 1899-1900. Shortly afterwards Mr. and Mrs. Turnbull moved to St. Marys and all of the furniture in the photograph was to be found in their home (southeast corner of Jones and King Streets) until 1961 when the house was sold. The buffalo horn table was given to the St. Marys Museum at that time. The originals are in the possession of Mrs. Douglas Turnbull, Victoria, B.C., and were taken originally by Saunders Photo Studio, North Water Street, Galt, Ontario.
