- Description
- Newspaper clipping of a Perth pioneer's homestead. Pictured is a large simple log home as it appeared in 1943.
Unfortunately the newspaper and date has not been provided. It is not the Journal Argus but may be the London Free Press or the Stratford Beacon Herald.
As the person submitting the comment has noted, this is the Motherwell home of John and Mary Caven who settled in the area in the 1850s. - Notes
- Condition: Fair. Faded, showing signs of use and age.
