James Anderson and Mary Russell Anderson came to Canada in 1842. They had six daughters and six sons. I believe this to be a picture of one of their sons; his name was "James" like his father.
I have a picture of four of the brothers. It is inscribed "Uncle William, Uncle George, Uncle John and my father -- Robert Anderson. Uncle James and Uncle Edward had died a few years before."
