- Older man with well-trimmed beard sitting on a folding camp chair outside a tent. The man is wearing a suit rather than camping gear but he does have sturdy boots and heavy socks. He is wearing tweeds, acceptable outdoor wear at that time.
A comment has been submitted, suggesting that this may be Alex Sinclair, who came from Scotland and may have then gone to the United States.
The location of the camp has not been determined although it looks to be an actual exterior shot, not a photographer's studio background.
