Not very likely, Don. Although Laura was a half sister of the founders of St. Marys, Thomas and James Ingersoll, she was considerably older than they were and perhaps was not even in contact with them.
Still, it's an interesting speculation. However, there are lots of photographs in the collection of elderly women dressed in a similar fashion but, sadly, unidentified.
