- Description
- This is an image of the Duke of York visiting Berlin. The city of Berlin underwent a name change in 1916, becoming Kitchener. In this image, a large crowd can be seen gathering around a train that is passing through. Various United Kingdom flags can also be seen. The building in the background reads "The ALPHA CHEMICAL CO'Y. 6" and more people can be seen standing on its roof.
This event is depicted in reesor093, reesor096 and presumably reesor097.
This photo belongs to the Reesor Collection, which is a group of photos taken by Milton W. Reesor, a local amateur photographer. He took many photos of friends, family, animals, outdoor activities, machinery, the railway, and more in and around St. Marys from 1898-1910. - Inscriptions
