- This is an image of Isabelle Chesterfield standing in a front yard with a street, houses and trees in the background. An old car can also be seen on the street in this photo. Isabelle is wearing a collared shirt with a nice jacket. This photo was taken in August, and later that year, in November, Isabelle enlisted in the Canadian Women's Army Corps (CWAC) after working in Toronto at an engineering business.
Isabelle Florence Chesterfield was the youngest child and daughter of James Allen Chesterfield and Annie Wilson. The Chesterfield family lived at 36 Ontario St. N., in St. Marys for many years. Isabelle later married Charles Kennedy.
