This is a photograph of the four McIntosh brothers from Blanshard Township (from left to right): Edward (1879-1941), Fred (1876-1938), William (born 1873), and David (1878-1941). The farming family came to Blanshard in 1842. The four men are the sons of William Petrie McIntosh (1834-1918) and Sarah Terry (1849-1925). William and Sarah also had four daughters: Caroline (1869-1919), Margaret (b. 1875), Alice Maud (b. 1881), and Agnes Agatha (b. 1884). Alice Maud McIntosh married William Jardine in 1905. Alice is the donor's grandmother and the four men in the photograph are her great-uncles.
