- This is a photograph of a train going across the London Bridge over Trout Creek. The London Bridge opened for traffic in 1858, a year after Grand Trunk Railway announced plans to open a railway line to London and Sarnia from St. Marys. Two bridges were built: the London Bridge and the Sarnia Bridge. While the London Bridge is still in use by trains today (2018), the Sarnia Bridge has been converted to the Grand Trunk walking trail.
The building on the right is the waterworks building. It was built in 1899 as a part of a new municipal water supply system for the Town of St. Marys. - Notes
