- Description
- This is a photograph of the Simpsons-Sears store that was once located at 121 Queen Street East. Simpsons-Sears first appeared in this location in 1976, and it is likely that this photograph was taken some time in the late 1970s.
121 Queen Street East is now home to Lyric Flowers (July 2018). The building was constructed in 1889 for Richard Gilpin and used for retail and residence. At one point, there was another similarly designed building west of this one, but it has since burned down. - Notes
