View of London Bridge in Winter

This photo shows the London Bridge over trout creek in winter. It is taken from just behind the Grand Trunk Railway station that is now a VIA Rail station. The London Bridge opened for traffic in 1858, a year after Grand Trunk Railway announced plans to open a railway line to Sarnia and London from St. Marys. While the London Bridge is still in use by trains today, the Sarnia Bridge has been converted to the Grand Trunk walking trail.
