- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. This postcard was part of a collection of postcards called the Art Needlework Series. The postcard comes with a removable patch that can be sewn onto pillows or other household objects, which are noted in the inscription. The patch on this postcard depicts Gertie Millar, an English actress and singer who was known for her performances in musicals from 1901 to 1918.
