- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. It depicts a small sailboat carrying two men travelling down the Thames River, just north of the Sarnia Bridge. Boating was a popular recreational activity in St. Marys after the Dam was built in 1908. There are two additional copies of this postcard in the collection.

- Condition: Good - Some wear and discolouration around edges, mainly at the top.
