Description

This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. Although the inscription says "Scene on the River Thames," this photo depicts people boating on Trout Creek, looking northeast. On the left is the boathouse, which used to exists on the south bank of the Flats, with the Water Street Bridge on the right. At the top of the hill, the Presbyterian and Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Churches can be seen.

This postcard is used and dated March 25, 1915.

Notes

Condition: Fair - Some wear around edges, tear on left side, crease on bottom left corner.
