- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. This is a photo of a funeral procession. The funeral procession in this photo is taking place on Church Street heading from the Methodist Church which has been the United Church since 1925. The Methodists and some of the members of the two Presbyterian congregations joined together to create one community. The Church was built in 1879 and is located on the corner of Church Street South and Elgin Street East.
This postcard has been used and dated. The date on the card is June 24, 07 - Notes
- Condition: Good- All four corners are slightly worn and there is a crease across the bottom left corner. There are dark spots all throughout the photo. In the lower left corner there is a dark spot that looks like a water mark.
