- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. This is an image of Queen Street facing west. The view that the image is displaying of the central business district, Queen Street, is from the intersection of Queen and Church Street. The original image has been coloured over. On the north side of the street the "ALllen Theater" sign can be see and on the south side of the street in the corner lot is a sign reading "Clothing."
The back of the postcard has been used and postmarked. The postmark on the card is dated August 9, 1926.
There is a postcard that is almost identical to this one. The sky is more pink in colour than the image here. The duplicate postcard has not been used. - Notes
- Condition: Good- All four corners are worn. There is a brown stain in the upper right corner.
