- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. In this photo stands a man and a women in front of a store. On the front window of the shop reads "The Whyte Packing Co. Butchers." On the side window, nearest the door, reads "Bacon and Hams." The address of the store front pictured in the photo is 165 Queen Street East.
The postcard has been used and dated, however the date the postmark is illegible. - Notes
- Condition: Fair- the left edge is worn and the image has begun to peel away from the card. This is happening along the top and across the bottom edge of the postcard are small cracks in the photo. Near the upper left corner are some scratches and an "L" and "B" that have either been written on the postcard or were written on paper overtop of the postcard which left an imprint on the card.
