Description

This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. Photograph of Queen Street facing east; the photo only shows the north side of the street. The photo is in colour and displays the stores lining Queen Street between Wellington and Church Street. To the left of the photograph is the Andrews Jeweller building. The clock of this building is visible, however, the cresting and tower are not. This photo provides a detailed look at the wooden trim above the first floor windows as well as the carved stone window frames of the windows on the second floor.

Notes

Condition: Excellent- along the top edge to the right side the colour has chipped away. Bottom left corner is slightly worn.
