Description
This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. A photograph of a parade taking place on Water Street heading south. The photo is of the west side of the street only. The parade is passing in front of the Opera House. Two men are carrying a banner which is not fully visible in the photo. The part of the banner that can be seen reads "Everybodys Don." Following behind the banner are men in suits; some appear to be carrying instruments.
Notes
Condition: Fair- there is a large crease across the top right corner that has a piece of tape across the back. Another crease is in the top left corner and bottom right. There is a section at the top right of the photograph where a layer of the image has been torn away. The entire photo has yellowed with age and there are stains on the back of the photo.
