- Description
- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. This is an image of Queen Street looking east from the Victoria Bridge. There are two horse drawn wagons in the intersection of Queen Street and Water Street and some on either side of the road farther down Queen Street. People can be seen walking along both sides of the sidewalk. Notice Town Hall and the old water tower in the background of the image.
This postcard is likely from the early 20th century. - Notes
- Condition: Fair - the image is clear. There is a large crease along the upper left corner and a yellow stain in the same area. All four corners are worn and the laminated finish over top of the image has begun to chip away.
