- Description
- This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. An image of Queen Street looking east from the Victoria Bridge. In the image Town Hall is visible in the upper, center portion of the postcard. Towards the front of the image are horse drawn wagons that appear to be empty except for the people riding on them. In the background there are people crossing the street and walking along the sidewalks.
This postcard can be dated to the early 20th century. - Notes
- Condition: Good- Along the mat of the postcard the work "Sparks" has been written in black ink. Along the bottom and top of the left side are slight yellowing stains. Top left corner is worn. In the center, right of the photo it looks as though an "X" has been drawn on to the image above one of the stores.
