Description

This image is one in a series of postcards from the Reg Near collection. This image shows a side profile of the Westover house. The photo was likely taken around the early 20th century. Note the bargeboard along the roof peeks and the finely framed windows in the alcove of the house. The building and grounds have served many purposes since its time of construction in 1867 such as a private residence, Catholic seminary, a commune and currently serves as a luxury Inn.

Notes

Condition: Excellent- Slight smudge marks along the bottom of the postcard and a few faint scratches are visible in the upper left corner.
