- Description
- A photo showing the Thames River at flood time; snow is still on the ground. Water was overrunning the banks of the river. The photo was taken upriver from the Park Street Bridge which can be seen on the left side of the photo. West Ward School stands on the hill on the far side of the river. Not many houses were built in the West Ward at this time. The exact date of the photo is unknown; however, it is known that the photo was taken by local photographer Milton Reesor likely sometime between 1900 and 1908.
