Description
A photo taken by local amateur photographer Milton Reesor, giving a view of Victoria Bridge over the Thames River, Carter's Mill to the right of the bridge and the opera house to the right of the mill. The flour mill seen in this photo would later be destroyed in 1921. The mill was established by local businessman George Carter. A footpath, apparently originally a towpath, can be seen along the bank of the river (right side of the photo). The photo provides a view of the limestone layers prominent along the river's edge.
Notes
Condition: Poor - Image is somewhat clear. Slight discolouration at top of photograph. Darkening of image due to light damage. Unknown blue material deposit on top right corner of photo, carried over onto album matte. Significant wear along album matte edges, bottom right corner severely worn.
