- Description
- This landscape photo was taken by local amateur photographer Milton Reesor in 1903. The photo is looking upstream the Thames River, looking northwest from the Sarnia Bridge, a CNR railway bridge. The large house seen through the trees in the distance was built for local politician T.B. Guest. The house, owned for many years by the Gilpin family, was demolished in the 1980s. The Guests' private boathouse can be seen along the riverbank below the house.
