- Description
- This small clapboard house once stood at 147 Wellington Street North; however, the structure has been demolished. The building was an example of a simple cottage built for function over form. Typically, the thin overlapping wood planks, known as clapboarding, were used to protect houses from the weather. In this example, the clapboarding has been placed over log.
